• Compatibility with existing residents through an initial impact and matching assessment

Where possible, we arrange introductory visits for the child and key adults, and hold a pre-placement meeting with professionals to:

• Share all key reports and assessments
• Agree on placement objectives and timescales
• Confirm any external support needed
• Finalise a transition plan

A placement planning meeting is held within statutory timeframes to formalise the child’s initial care plan in collaboration with their social worker.

We understand time pressures in commissioning and aim to communicate swiftly and transparently throughout the referral process.

Emergency Admissions

We accept emergency placements 24/7, subject to availability. Decisions are typically made within an hour of initial contact.

Please note: Out-of-hours referrals must be made by phone.

An initial review meeting is held within 72 hours of placement to ensure suitability and plan next steps.
